VertaMedia, an award-winning video monetisation platform for publishers, has announced it is expanding into the UK, with the opening of a new London office and the appointment of a UK Country Manager. New York based VertaMedia is recognised as one of America’s fastest-growing private companies by Inc. 5000, and was named in Deloitte’s 2016 Technology Fast 500.
To drive business growth in this new market, VertaMedia has appointed digital media and ad tech specialist Iain Kelly as UK Country Manager. With more than a decade’s experience in digital and ad tech environments, Kelly is an advocate for ad verification and formed part of the commercial team that established the UK ad verification market. This new position forms part of a wider global expansion strategy, with Country Manager appointments for France, Germany, and Australia already in the pipeline.
“Expanding into the UK is a key strategic step for VertaMedia as we pursue ongoing business growth across Europe and beyond,” commented Alex Bornyakov, CEO and Founder of VertaMedia. “During a time of rapid expansion we need highly experienced digital professionals at the helm and Iain has all the necessary skills and knowledge to ensure our customers meet their business goals. We’re very pleased to welcome him to the VertaMedia team.”
“I’m delighted to join VertaMedia as it strengthens its European presence and expands into new markets,” commented Iain Kelly, UK Country Manager for VertaMedia. “I am looking forward to being part of the strong partnerships VertaMedia has formed with top publishers and using my experience in ad verification to create a closer relationship between advertisers and publishers to improve overall user experience. This is an exciting period of growth for the business and I’m looking forward to bringing VertaMedia’s products, such as its new advanced server-side header bidding platform to the UK market.”
Video monetisation platform VertaMedia helps publishers to maximise their inventory in an increasingly programmatic advertising ecosystem. Its advanced, white-label technology uses a bespoke system, the VertaMedia™ Intelli algorithm, to instantly link publishers with the best demand source for each impression, delivering fill rates of up to 45% in an industry where averages are just 15-20%. The company has built on the success of this offering, which now includes 100+ global demand-side partners.
